“White and Blue”, the official student publication of Saint Louis University, won as the Overall Regional Champion in the 8th Regional Tertiary Schools Press Conference organized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED)-CAR last December 7-9, 2007 at the BBCCCI.
Eight White and Blue senior staff competed against fellow campus journalists from 11 other participating tertiary schools in the Cordillera region. The awards they received include: Best Literary Folio (“Kuwaderno 7”), Best Broadsheet, Best Tabloid, 18 individual awards and 17 group awards (both English & Filipino categories), and Highest Individual Pointer (Amilof Inso).
Together with the top winners from other schools, they will represent the CAR in the Luzon-wide Higher Education Press Conference to be held in Tuguegarao City on February 6-8, 2008.
