Several Louisians fared well in the recently concluded board examinations given by the Professional Regulating Commission held last November and January 2008. SLU ranked 4th in the Chemical Engineering Board Exams in the category 20 or more examinees held last November 13-15, 2007 with a National Passing rate of 52.33% (281/537) and an SLU passing rate of 70% (35/50).
The turn-out of the Civil Engineering Board Exams last November 24 and 25 paved way for SLU to be ranked 2nd by PRC with 50 or more examinees with a National Passing rate of 41.13% (1342/3263) and an SLU passing rate of 63% (45/72).
Pharmacy ranked first in the category 10-25 examinees with a National passing rate of 51.84% (492/949) and an SLU passing rate of 100% (18/18).
Architecture boasts Ryan Mina Benaoe for raking first in the January 2008 Board exams with a National passing rate of 29.82% (238/798) and an SLU passing rate of 50% (5/10).
College of Medicine is ranked 5th among schools with 50 or less first time examinees. Allan Corpuz ranked 6th with a national passing rate of 53% (1054/1985) and an SLU passing rate of 70% (23/33). Set as favorite Bookmark
