In an effort to clear out unresolved issues the KASAMA/ SSC together with the SLU Administration held an open dialogue last February 13 at the conference room of the Administrative building. From the roster of admin officials came Atty. Arnulfo Soriano, Vice President for Administration, Dr. Noel de Leon, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Mrs. Evangeline Trinidad, Vice President for Finance, Dean Gil Espiritu, and Mr. Andrew Macalma both from the Students Affairs Office, Mr. Eduardo Kidayan, Internal Auditor and the deans of the different colleges. KASAMA/SSC Executive Committee headed by Michael Karl Flores came in complete attendance with the different governors representing their respective colleges.
Governors or representatives from the different colleges were asked to speak first. They were to air out their observed grievances from their colleges ranging from dilapidated buildings, to missing chairs, defective laboratory equipments, unapproachable employees, vandalism, and the like.
In turn the deans are given time to answer raised issues from the student body where a compromise is formed asking cooperation from both parties. Officials from the Administration also gave their views, suggestions and recommendations from the grievances presented. Furthermore, both students and officials committed to work hand in hand to resolve issues that surfaced. Set as favorite Bookmark
